Kylara is a Clinical Social Work Associate (CSWA) and Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-R). She earned her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Walla Walla University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from Oregon State University.

She works primarily with adolescents and adults navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, psychosis, identity exploration, and life transitions. Her approach is grounded in humanistic and existential principles and supported by evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed care. She strives to create a compassionate, collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow.

Her professional experience includes community mental health, including work with Early Assessment and Support Alliance (EASA), and correctional programs, supporting individuals and families and facilitating growth-focused interventions. Prior to entering the mental health field, she served in the military and worked in the hospitality industry—experiences that strengthened her resilience, adaptability, and creativity, qualities she now brings into her clinical practice.

In her free time, she enjoys art, cooking, yoga, poetry, singing, and spending time outdoors.
